- The “Good Samaritan Award” goes to persons who have saved a life or have acted in behalf of their fellow person by out-of-the-ordinary assistance at no risk to their own lives.
- The “Certificate of Appreciation” goes to Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, Lifeguards, etc. (Professionals, while on duty) for their acts above and beyond the call of duty, on behalf of others.
Please keep in mind that the location of the incident may be anywhere in the world, as long as at least one of the persons involved is from Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan.
