 environmental laws\, hazardous waste rules\, DOT General Awareness & Famil
 iarization and Container Management\, Preparedness & Prevention. \n \nSpec
 ifically\, this course will focus on: \n\n> Hazardous materials and hazard
 ous substances legislation which affect Hazardous Waste Generators. \n> Di
 scussion and definition of hazardous wastes vs. solid wastes\, the differe
 nce between large quantity vs. small quantity generators\, the marking and
  labeling requirements for hazardous wastes\, satellite accumulation and g
 eneral waste management practices. \n> Includes function specific DOT trai
 ning for signing manifests. \n> Correct DOT Waste descriptions\, labeling\
 , marking and placarding requirements. \n> Explanation of the requirements
  for container management\, accumulation time\, satellite accumulation\, a
 nd facility communications equipment\, alarm systems and spill control equ
 ipment. \n> Specific components of the regulations that apply to Large Qua
 ntity Generators and Small Quantity Generators. \n \n Upon Completion of t
 he presentation of the course material\, a comprehensive review of all the
  information in a written test format consisting of True/False and multipl
 e choice questions will be administered. \n \nCost: Members $150.00 per pe
