 ust explosions\, 281 of these have been major incidents resulting in the d
 eaths of 119 workers and another 718 workers sustained injuries.\n\nThis h
 alf-day course explains the requirements for a Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) 
 and an overview of the methodologies that can be employed to perform a DHA
 .\n\nThe course also includes a logical approach to characterizing a powde
 r's hazardous dust properties\, as well as a description of various techni
 ques used to control and/or avoid dust explosions in a safe and compliant 
 manner.\n\nCancellations less than 24 hours in advance and no-shows are re
 sponsible for the full registration fees. Substitutions may be made at any
 time.
