 nagers™ (COSM) program.\n\nWhat is the Certificate for Occupational Safety
  Managers™ (COSM)?\n\nThe COSM Program is intended for the safety professi
 onal that aspires for advancement with their organization and to take thei
 r safety education and skills to the next level.\n\nThe COSM program is an
  advanced-level safety program consisting of five 8-hour sessions.\n\nWhat
  can I expect to learn in the COSM class?\n\nStudents must complete the fo
 llowing five sessions to receive the COSM certificate.\n\n~ Essentials of 
 Safety Management\n~ Strategic Planning & Evaluating for Safety Success\n~
  Managing Risk & Safety Finance\n~ Communicating the Safety Message\n~ Inj
 ury Management\, Incentives and Discipline\n\nUpon completion students wil
 l be able to:\n\n~ Practice techniques that will enhance your ability to m
 anage the business aspects of your safety effort.\n~ Interface more readil
 y with other areas of your organization that can support your efforts.\n~ 
 More effectively communicate the results of your safety program with senio
 r managers.\n\nPrerequisites\n\nIn order to receive the final COSM certifi
 cate you must meet the following criteria: \n\n~ Complete all five days \n
 ~ Turn in all completed assignments \n~ Have a minimum of two (2) years sa
 fety\, health and environmental work experience\n\nCertificate for Occupat
 ional Safety Managers (COSM)\, Registration Fees: Members: $1\,999 per per
 son Non-members: $2\,599 per person. \n\nCancellations less than 24 hours 
 in advance and no-shows are responsible for the full registration fees. Su
 bstitutions may be made at anytime. \n\nNon-members must prepay to registe
 r.
