 rsâ„¢ (COSM) program.\n\nWhat is the Certificate for Occupational Safety Man
 agersâ„¢ (COSM)?\n\nThe COSM Program is intended for the safety professional
  that aspires for advancement with their organization and to take their sa
 fety education and skills to the next level.\n\nThe COSM program is an adv
 anced-level safety program consisting of five 8-hour sessions.\n\nWhat can
  I expect to learn in the COSM class?\n\nStudents must complete the follow
 ing five sessions to receive the COSM certificate.\n\nâ–º  Essentials of Saf
 ety Management\nâ–º  Strategic Planning & Evaluating for Safety Success\nâ–º  
 Managing Risk & Safety Finance\nâ–º  Communicating the Safety Message\nâ–º  In
 jury Management\, Incentives and Discipline\n\nUpon completion students wi
 ll be able to:\n\nâ–º  Practice techniques that will enhance your ability to
  manage the business aspects of your safety effort.\nâ–º  Interface more rea
 dily with other areas of your organization that can support your efforts.
 \nânâ  More effectively communicate the results of your safety program with 
 senior managers.\n\nPrerequisites\n\nIn order to receive the final COSM ce
 rtificate you must meet the following criteria: \n\nâ–º  Complete all five d
 ays \nâ–º  Turn in all completed assignments \nâ–º  Have a minimum of two (2) 
 years safety\, health and environmental work experience\n\nThe Safety Coun
 cil will provide lunch.\n\nCost: Members $1\,999.00 per person\nNon-Member
 s $2\,599.00 per person\n\nIf your company has 5 or more employees that ne
 ed training\, call us and we can come to your facility.  \n\nCancellations
  less than 24 hours in advance and no-shows are responsible for the full r
 egistration fees. Substitutions may be made at anytime. Non-members must p
 repay to register.
