 OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Program provides training for workers and em
 ployers on the recognition\, avoidance\, abatement\, and prevention of saf
 ety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides informatio
 n regarding workers' rights and employer responsibilities. This is a volun
 tary program and does not meet training requirements for any specific OSHA
  standards. \n \nThis 30-hour class is appropriate for owners\, supervisor
 s or workers with safety responsibility. Through this training\, employers
  help to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazard
 s and applicable standards\, their rights\, and contribute to our nation's
  productivity. \n\nUpon completion of the course\, attendees will receive 
 a certification card from the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio and OSHA.\n
 \nSuccessful completion demonstrates an effort towards voluntary complianc
 e with all applicable OSHA standards and can be to your advantage in an OS
 HA inspection. \n\nTopics will include:\n►  Introduction to OSHA  \n►  Wal
 king and Working Surfaces \n►  Exit Routes\, Emergency Action Plans\, Fire
  Prevention \n►  Electrical\n►  Material Handling  \n►  Hazard Communicati
 on \n►  Other OSHA regulations \n\n*  You will benefit from receiving an o
 fficial certification card from OSHA and an official certificate indicatin
 g you have successfully completed the course requirements. \n\n*  If an OS
 HA inspector  arrives at your worksite\, this  card will demonstrate an ef
 fort towards voluntary compliance with applicable OSHA standards. \n\n* Yo
 u will receive a  comprehensive text covering  the 1910 standards. \n\nInc
 ludes: CFR 1910 text\, handouts\, Certification Card from OSHA and Safety 
 Council of Northwest Ohio \n\nCost:  SCNWO Members $550 per person  \n    
          Non-members $650 per person \n\nIf your company has 5 or more emp
 loyees that need training\, call us and we can come to your facility.  \n
 \nCancellations less than 24- hours in advance are responsible for the ful
