If we turned on the water at work\, school or at home and it was discolor
ed or contaminated we would not accept it. However\, the air quality we a
re subjected to for the most part is unknown to us. The particles that ar
e inhaled and penetrate deep into our respiratory system are invisible and
therefore the demand by both regulatory agents and the public are not the
re. We know poor air quality can cause poor health. \n\nMost companies ha
ve already made an investment in their ventilation system\, but they are n
ot reaching their potential efficiency because of control limitations and
a lock of general knowledge in this area\nMost commercial buildings\, scho
ols\, hospitals and residential homes have ventilation systems. The facil
ities have significant investments in their ventilation systems however\,
many commercial filters in use are either poorly maintained or using filte
rs inadequate to capture respirable particles\, unknown to the end user.
\n This training will concentrate on “LOCAL EXHAUST”” ventilation\,
systems designed to operate on the principle of capturing a contaminate at
or near its source and “GENERAL EXHAUST” used for controlling temperature
 s and minimize the migration of contaminants.\n\nTRAINING OBJECTIVES:\n1.	O
