For over forty years, the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio has sponsored the Training Camp for AAA Safety Patrol Leaders. Captains and Lieutenants of schools’ safety patrols from districts around northwest Ohio attend this 2-day program held at Camp Miakonda in Sylvania, Ohio.
Students take part in leadership programs instructed and supported by organizations who partner with the Safety Council. Our partners: Lucas County Sheriff, Wood County Sheriff, Bowling Green Police Department, Toledo Public Schools, Washington Local Schools and AAA of Northwest Ohio.
