   This course equips occupational, environmental, health, and safety (OEHS) professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to manage industrial hygiene responsibilities successfully. Designed for those seeking to strengthen their ability to protect worker health, the course blends regulatory knowledge with practical applications.

 It consists of four modules: 

  • Module 1: Introduction - Discover the scope and importance of Industrial Hygiene, explore its core concepts, and understand its regulatory and professional foundations
  • Module 2: Anticipation and Recognition – Build hazard recognition skills by examining particulate matter, silica, gases, vapors, and occupational noise. Learn how to anticipate workplace exposures before they become risks.
  • Module 3: Evaluation - Gain hands-on experience in exposure assessment, including air sampling techniques for particulates, gases, and vapors. Learn how to interpret data and compare results against permissible exposure limits (PELs) and industry benchmarks.
  • Module 4: Control - Apply the hierarchy of controls to real-world scenarios. Strengthen your knowledge of engineering controls (with a focus on ventilation), administrative practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to achieve effective risk reduction.
