2025 Hero Award Nomination
The Safety Council of Northwest Ohio has the honor to invite you to propose one or several candidates for the 2025 Hero Award Banquet. Please provide us with the names of Civilians, Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, Lifeguards, etc., who saved or helped in saving a life, and in your opinion, are deserving of special recognition for their selfless acts of kindness.
Award decisions are based on the information you provide. Please note that the strongest nominations include detailed responses and supporting documents.
Hero Award Nomination Categories:
● The “Hero Award” goes to persons who have risked their own lives or well-being to rescue or save the life of another
● The “Good Samaritan Award” goes to persons who have saved a life or have acted on behalf of their fellow person by out-of-the-ordinary assistance at no risk to their own lives.
● The “Certificate of Appreciation” goes to Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, Lifeguards, etc. (Professionals, while on duty) for their acts above and beyond the call of duty, on behalf of others.
Please keep in mind that the location of the incident may be anywhere in the world, as long as at least one of the persons involved is from Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan.
The banquet honoring the award recipients will be held TBD, at the Pinnacle in Maumee, Ohio 43537 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
