Most active attacks are over in minutes, often before law enforcement can arrive. The people on scene in those first minutes, your employees, are the true first responders and their decisions drive the outcome.
This training is serious without being fear-based. Participants leave more capable and more confident, not more anxious, with skills they carry into every environment: work, home, school and community.
Participants will learn:
- Recognize the warning signs
- Recognize an armed suspect
- Build everyday situational awareness
- Understand the body under threat
- Apply Avoid, Deny, Defend
- Respond safely when police arrive
- Stop the Bleed (hands-on)
The training is designed for a general workforce audience and requires no prior training or fitness level.
Three (3) Contact Hours.
Cost: Members: $120 per person
Non-members: $220 per person
Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance and no-shows are responsible for the full registration fees. Substitutions may be made at anytime. Non-members must prepay to register.
